2015 / Giro di luce / Mari tra le mura / photographic site-specific installation / Monastero di San Benedetto Conversano / Province of Puglia / IT /
Realized in the framework of a residency by SAC and the institution Fondazione Museo Pino Pascali, Polignano al Mare, curators: Nicola Zito, Edoardo Trisciuzzi
The site-specific project Giro di luce (The Way of Light) was realized during a two week creative residency in the premises of a former Benedictine monastery in the south of Italy in Conversano. The photographic installation was created after nights alone in the monastery. The phenomena of light and time hold symbolic and physical meaning in the work, as they are directly present in the analogical process of photography.
